The platform · WASM 604

The dashboard shows the number. The archive beside it tells you what it means.

WASM 604 is built in Coimbatore by the Systel Group and read against the Systel Audit Archive of two thousand plants. Every KPI on it carries Systel's reading — on the screen, in the daily email, in the monthly report.

Dryer 2 inlet is 41 °C — overloaded, not faulty. Shade the intake before servicing. C3 overlap costs more than any leak this month; resequence first. Unit 2 splicers: 9 in 10 mills, same pattern.

Six numbers, and what they usually mean

The KPI, and the reading we give it.

Each KPI on the dashboard is shown with its value and Systel's interpretation. Below, the six we track — and the pattern our audits attach to each.

Specific power
0.162 kW/CFM
Energy per unit of air, plant-wide and per compressor.
Our reading: above 0.17 in a spinning mill is almost always sequencing or pressure, not old compressors.
Cost per CFM
₹1.21 / CFM·h
Specific power at your tariff. The figure the CFO reads.
Our reading: the number to put against every open action — it turns a leak list into a decision.
Air balance accounted
91%
Generated vs metered by unit. What is unaccounted is leakage and unmetered use.
Our reading: below 85% and the quarterly review walks the unmetered branches first — it is nearly always one line.
Pressure drop across treatment
0.32 bar Δp
Receiver to header, weeks before anyone notices a blocked filter.
Our reading: a slow rise is a filter; a step change is a dryer. The trend shape tells us which before we visit.
Dew-point compliance
96% hours in limit
After each dryer. Evidence for ISO 8573 and the quality team.
Our reading: afternoon-only excursions are inlet temperature, not the dryer. We have seen it in every hot-season audit.
Non-productive air share
9%
Air drawn during breaks and stoppages — measurable leakage.
Our reading: it creeps back about 2 points a quarter in a busy mill. That is why Systel reviews every quarter.
What you receive

DailyKPI email with Systel's noteYesterday's air, energy, cost, specific power and alarms, and two lines on what to do about them. To the owner and plant head at 07:00.
LivePlant dashboardPlant view, machine-level data, alarm log. Desktop and mobile; unlimited users at your plant.
MonthlyPerformance reportKPIs vs baseline and target, by unit. Issues named and priced. Open actions with owners. Avoided-emissions statement for ESG reporting.
QuarterlyThe quarterly Systel reviewLeak survey and machine-level flow measurements, reviewed with the owner. What was done, what it saved, what is still open — and what the archive says to do next. Every finding is logged in your account.
Alarms

Who is told, and when.

Alarm rules are agreed with the plant head at commissioning. Your shift-in-charge gets the alert on WhatsApp and the dashboard; the plant head by email within the hour; the owner sees it in the next morning's mail with the cost of leaving it open. Systel's monitoring desk sees every alarm too.
